Dave Filoni Working On New Star Wars Show

Star Wars Clone WarsDave Filoni, supervising director on the Star Wars: The Clone Wars TV series, told RebelForceRadio.com that he is at work developing a new animated Star Wars series. Fans were disappointed recently to learn that The Clone Wars was being cancelled along with several other in-development shows and video games. So news that something new is coming is good, especially considering how good The Clone Wars got. It is still unclear when/where the new series would take place. Perhaps between the prequels and the original story? Between episodes IV and V? Or maybe clear back in the Knights of the Old Republic days? Regardless, I’m going to keep my eye on this story as it develops.

Quite frankly, Tim is a 17-year-old trapped in a 30-something-year-old’s body. He loves good TV – by which he means something with a good serialized storyline – and movies, and spends many of his nights immersed in a gloriously complex video game. He’s a firm believer that Lost was the greatest show ever made, and that includes the ending. Oh, and Tim is a staunch defender of the Ewoks and their place in the Star Wars canon.
