Felicia Day – FanX 2015

Felicia Day panel sittingLet me just tell you that I love love love Felicia Day. She is just the coolest of the cool. She embodies geek culture in a positive and influential way. Not only does she do a great job as an actress on projects like Supernatural and Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along-Blog, but she’s also created the community website Geek & Sundry and not only serves as creator, but as a producer, writer, host and more. She’s recently written a new memoir that will be out later this year. And she’s also just fun to be around. Panelists like Felicia are great because they “get” the con culture. She wasn’t just their to sell her wares. She’s great for the fandom because she’s a geek fan herself.

We’ve got the audio from part of her panel right here for your listening pleasure. Unfortunately, the first half of the audio was lost to space and time, so you’re just not going to get to hear it. I’m sorry! Anyway, please to enjoy…

P.S. Here’s our photo op with Felicia. She’s lovely and smells like heaven.

Writer at ComicCon.tips
Quite frankly, Tim is a 17-year-old trapped in a 30-something-year-old’s body. He loves good TV – by which he means something with a good serialized storyline – and movies, and spends many of his nights immersed in a gloriously complex video game. He’s a firm believer that Lost was the greatest show ever made, and that includes the ending. Oh, and Tim is a staunch defender of the Ewoks and their place in the Star Wars canon. You can listen to Tim on the Whatever Makes You Weird podcast, check out his opinions about upcoming movies in our Trailerpark Tuesday segments, and find his reporting about cons and all things nerd-ish on Comic Con Tips.
