NYCC: Agents of Shield

During the Marvel’s Agents of Shield panel at New York Comic Con last week, executive producer Jeph Loeb, Elizabeth Henstridge (Simmons), and Iain De Caestecker (Fitz) told the audience that there were many twists and turns coming in the series that will surprise fans, but that answers will come quickly. We won’t have to wait years for mysteries to be revealed. The show was recently bumped up from 13 episodes to a full season order. Expect the show to visit a lot of international locales and to feature a lot of character development. The Marvel Cinematic Universe will play into the show and we’ll see characters cross over from TV to movie and vice versa. And, yes, characters can die.

Quite frankly, Tim is a 17-year-old trapped in a 30-something-year-old’s body. He loves good TV – by which he means something with a good serialized storyline – and movies, and spends many of his nights immersed in a gloriously complex video game. He’s a firm believer that Lost was the greatest show ever made, and that includes the ending. Oh, and Tim is a staunch defender of the Ewoks and their place in the Star Wars canon.
