SDCC Tips – July 31, 2014 – More Things You May Have Missed

The Gotham City Zipline | Disney Fanniversary | Blooper Reels

The Gotham City Zipline

Even if you didn’t have tickets to SDCC, there was plenty to do in San Diego last week. One example was the Gotham City zipline. Fox built a Gotham City skyline for people to zipline past. Looks like a lot of fun. Just another example of the kind of fun you can have in San Diego with or without a badge.

Disney Fanniversary
Couldn’t make it to SDCC this year? Don’t worry. You might be able to check out D23’s Fanniversary event coming to a city near you. If you’re a fan of Disney, it’s the perfect opportunity to get some behind the scenes access. It will also be a great place to meet other Disney enthusiasts and share your passion. The tour will be going to 11 cities and will have something for new and old Disney fans. Check out this article.

Blooper reels
And finally, there were a lot of fun blooper reels shown at various panels last week, but have you seen them all? The Tracking Board website has compiled all of them in one handy place. Check them out. They’re great.

Writer at ComicCon.tips
Quite frankly, Tim is a 17-year-old trapped in a 30-something-year-old’s body. He loves good TV – by which he means something with a good serialized storyline – and movies, and spends many of his nights immersed in a gloriously complex video game. He’s a firm believer that Lost was the greatest show ever made, and that includes the ending. Oh, and Tim is a staunch defender of the Ewoks and their place in the Star Wars canon. You can listen to Tim on the Whatever Makes You Weird podcast, check out his opinions about upcoming movies in our Trailerpark Tuesday segments, and find his reporting about cons and all things nerd-ish on Comic Con Tips.
