For your consideration: The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1, The Quest, Dracula Untold
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1
What a cool tease. I wish more movies would do this kind of marketing. It gives nothing away but makes you anxious to see more. Mockingjay wasn’t my favorite book in the series, but I do think they could make a cool movie or two out of the material. I’m excited.

Kind of makes you feel like Panem is a decent place to be. The Government’s going to take care of you right? I keep feeling so sad for Peeta just standing there doing what he has to do. This is fun and if you have a second, watch it from the website, it’s a little funner than watching on YouTube. http://www.thecapitol.pn/
The Quest

I hadn’t heard of this TV show until this week. I have to admit it looks kind of intriguing. And this is coming from someone who watches zero hours of reality TV a week. This show seems like something I haven’t seen before, which is getting difficult to do now days. Obviously the contestants won’t be able to participate in real battles or fights, but maybe they could figure out an equivalent. I may just check out this one.

I only heard about The Quest because of Fantasy Con this weekend. Decided to check it out. Super-duper nerdtastic-aliscious. A scripted fantasy world with unscripted reality contestants? This show looks fun. It looks like a fun change from the Bachelor and the Bachelorette. I’m curious. I’m curious enough that I’m somewhat tempted to audition at Fantasy Con for the 2nd season. But I don’t think that tempted, lol.
Dracula Untold

Not sure how I feel about this one. The premise seems cool, but the execution (based on the trailer) seems kind of generic. I’m not sure I really know the origins of Dracula, or if there are any official origins. So I don’t know how close this hues to any source material, but I like the idea of Dracula becoming Dracula out of a need to protect his family. If this gets decent reviews I may check it out, otherwise I imagine I’ll never see it.

Essentially a Dracula origin story. I like it. This one actually makes you feel like Dracula has a purpose and helps you see from his perspective. What’s up with the super creepy vampire in the cave? I want to know more about that guy and I doubt we will. I won’t be able to watch this one with my wife, but I’ll watch.
